Relax

Relax helpful tips from Worcester AcupunctureRelax

As it is the middle of winter I thought I would share a post on making some important me time.

Give yourself permission to rest and relax. To recharge your batteries. After the hustle and bustle of Christmas and all the bright lights January can feel very cold and dark. So take time for yourself. Time to replenish. Time to relax.

Remember:

You are not responsible for everything that is broken.

You don’t have to try to make everyone happy.

There are obviously lots of ways to reclaim your me time and relax

  • Go for a walk
  • Read a good book
  • Listen to music
  • Shiatsu

Shiatsu I hear you asking and what is that.  This is a relaxing Japanese form of massage. It is performed fully clothed (jogging bottoms etc are great for this) on a futon. This is a large mat on the floor.

Shiatsu is a traditional hands-on Japanese energetic bodywork art. Much more than a massage Shiatsu is based on the meridian system used in acupuncture, but using finger pressure, not needles (In Japanese “shi” means finger and “atsu” means pressure)

Shiatsu aims to gently adjust the body’s structure, using stretches and rotations thus unblocking the meridians or energy pathways to promote the harmony essential for good health.

Shiatsu seeks to

  • Relax mind and body
  • Balance energy
  • Enhance well being
  • Help to maintain good health

As well as practicing acupuncture I also practice shiatsu so if you like the sound of this than please phone Angela on 07919930188 Now or by email
